Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end backend delivery: discovery, design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of services in the Grow & Engage domain.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Designers to transform product requirements into scalable service designs and APIs.
- Implement and operate microservices with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and observability (logs, metrics, alerts).
- Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, documentation, and team knowledge-sharing activities (including GSDD).
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities, propose technical solutions, and follow secure development practices.
Requirements:
- Practical experience developing production systems using a JVM language with Spring Boot; Kotlin experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of microservice architecture and service-to-service communication patterns.
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres preferred) and familiarity with non-relational stores.
- Comfortable working in cloud environments (AWS preferred) and using deployment/infra automation tools.
- Strong testing and documentation habits, collaborative communication skills, and a bias for delivering results.
