Responsibilities:
- Deliver backend features for authentication, identity verification (KYC) and GDPR-compliant workflows.
- Maintain and extend Salesforce integrations and the public website to support marketing and client services.
- Design microservices, APIs (GraphQL/REST) and data models; implement secure data storage patterns.
- Work with cloud-native infrastructure on AWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda), CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
- Emphasize secure, maintainable and well-documented code; participate in reviews and mentoring.
- Drive engineering excellence: CI/CD, test automation, observability and incident support.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Extensive experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring-based backend development.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, Docker and AWS services (ECS, Fargate, Lambda).
- Proficiency with API design (GraphQL/REST), SQL and NoSQL databases and JWT-based auth.
- Experience with CI/CD, test automation and secure coding standards.
- Good communication, collaboration skills and a product-oriented mindset.
- Experience with Salesforce, KYC or GDPR-related systems is beneficial.
