Responsibilities:
- Design, operate, and evolve Kubernetes-based platforms for large-scale production environments.
- Manage cluster lifecycle, ingress controllers, service mesh, cert-manager, and related platform components.
- Develop and maintain Helm charts and Kustomize manifests for repeatable deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform and CI/CD/GitOps (ArgoCD).
- Build platform tooling and automation using Go, Python, or Bash.
- Implement observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and SLI/SLO frameworks.
- Integrate security and compliance practices into platform architecture and operations.
- Mentor engineers, produce runbooks and ADRs, and collaborate on platform roadmaps with distributed teams.
Requirements:
- Several years of professional experience in DevOps/platform engineering or related roles.
- At least 1 year of daily, production hands-on Kubernetes experience (cluster lifecycle and core components).
- Strong practical experience with Terraform and Helm for automation and configuration management.
- Hands-on knowledge of OKD/OpenShift and related platform tools.
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD or similar).
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash for building automation and tooling.
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and SLI/SLO definition.
- Understanding of platform security, compliance, and operating practices at scale.
