Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain user-facing interfaces for writing tasks, reviewing files/videos, inspecting agent actions, and comparing experimental results.
- Design and implement backend APIs and PostgreSQL data models for tasks, reviews, files, and experiments.
- Integrate applications with data pipelines and file storage (S3), enforcing input validation, permissions, and clear error handling.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine workflows, triage and fix bugs, and preserve performance as datasets grow.
- Implement testing (unit/integration/e2e), automated checks, and tooling to maintain reliability.
Requirements:
- Minimum ~3 years building production applications used by others (frontend, backend, or full-stack).
- Strong TypeScript + React skills, or Python with FastAPI, and willingness to work across the stack.
- Solid experience designing APIs and working with SQL relational databases (PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with AWS, S3, background jobs, and frontend testing tools (Playwright) is a plus.
- Practical approach to debugging, testing, and incorporating user feedback into iterative improvements.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with researchers and domain experts.
