Responsibilities:
- Apply strong quantitative and engineering skills to design and implement practical data science and ML solutions.
- Move ambiguous, early-stage ideas to working prototypes and production-ready components in a zero-to-one startup environment.
- Use agentic AI coding tools and other developer automation daily to accelerate development and experimentation.
- Collaborate with a small, technically strong team; take high ownership of problems and deliver pragmatic output.
- Iterate quickly on models, tooling, and systems with a focus on measurable impact and usability.
Requirements:
- 5–10+ years of technical experience in AI engineering, machine learning, software engineering, or data science (title optional).
- Strong quantitative foundation (rigorous degree in mathematics/related field or equivalent depth).
- Prior hands-on experience as an early startup hire (ideally team size ~1–15) and comfort in zero-to-one contexts.
- Daily familiarity with agentic AI coding tools or comparable development tooling and workflows.
- Comfortable working at high pace with strong ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving focus.
