Responsibilities:
- Own features end-to-end for AI voice products: design, implement, test, and deploy features across backend, frontend, and integrations.
- Build AI-powered tools that configure agents, troubleshoot failures, and surface direct answers to business questions.
- Develop and optimize voice agents for reliability, latency, and quality across calls, messaging, and email.
- Design and operate memory/state systems to support reasoning across customer workflows.
- Improve observability, tracing, and diagnostics so teams can identify and resolve failed interactions quickly.
- Collaborate with product, ML, and infrastructure teams to ship scalable, production-grade systems.
Requirements:
- 3+ years building and owning production product features and distributed systems.
- Strong backend experience with Python (FastAPI) or TypeScript and practical full-stack exposure.
- Experience with real-time audio/voice infrastructure, AI agents or LLM integrations, and async/event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis (or equivalents) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Solid software fundamentals, product judgment, and a bias for shipping outcomes; experience with observability and workflow tools (Temporal) is a plus.
