About the role

Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end product features for AI voice agents across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Design and build agent configuration, debugging, and integrations that solve real customer problems.
- Develop and optimize voice agents for latency, reliability, and audio quality in production.
- Extend agents to support calls, messaging, and email with shared memory and consistent state across channels.
- Implement memory and state systems to enable reasoning across customer interactions and workflows.
- Improve observability and tracing to make failures and edge cases diagnosable and actionable.
- Implement channel-selection logic so agents choose the best communication medium per interaction.
- Collaborate with product, ML, and infra teams; define metrics and iterate based on customer feedback.

Requirements:
- Production experience owning full-stack features, including distributed or event-driven systems.
- Strong software fundamentals, product judgment, and a bias for measurable business impact.
- Proficiency with TypeScript and/or Python (FastAPI) and experience building UI with React or similar.
- Hands-on experience with realtime audio or voice infrastructure and deploying LLMs/agentic systems in production.
- Experience building async/event-driven systems with complex state using PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar stores.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), workflow orchestration (e.g., Temporal), and observability tooling.
- Comfortable debugging production issues, instrumenting systems, and collaborating across teams to deliver reliable features.
