Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain backend services in Go that support marketplace matching, pricing and supply-demand balance.
- Develop microservices and help migrate responsibilities from legacy systems while preserving reliability.
- Work with product managers, designers and data scientists to turn economic models and algorithms into production systems.
- Optimise for latency, throughput and fairness under heavy load; add telemetry and automated testing.
- Participate in system design, code reviews and platform improvements to support scaling.

Requirements:
- 3+ years experience for mid-level, 5+ years for senior roles building scalable backend services.
- Preferable experience with Go; candidates strong in Python, Java, C++ or Ruby are welcome.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform and a TDD/DDD-driven engineering approach.
- Comfortable working with data scientists to productionise algorithms and with product teams to delivery impactful features.
