Responsibilities:
- Build and operate scalable backend services in Python using FastAPI or Django.
- Design for reliability and performance in distributed, high-load environments.
- Implement integrations with external APIs and cloud services (AWS/Lambda).
- Maintain Dockerized deployments and evolve CI/CD pipelines with DevOps.
- Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning and incident response activities.
- Contribute to team standards via code reviews, design guidance and mentoring.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years backend experience with strong Python and FastAPI/Django knowledge.
- Track record building microservices and working with distributed systems.
- Practical experience with AWS infrastructure (including Lambda), Docker and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with event-driven approaches (Kafka) and API integration best practices.
- Strong analytical, communication and remote-collaboration skills.
- Prior fintech/payments or real-time processing experience is beneficial; relocation support offered.
