Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain backend services for the Subscriptions product area.
- Deliver well-scoped customer-facing features (discover, purchase, manage premium plans).
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues; improve reliability and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, analysts, and other engineers.
- Write automated tests and clear technical documentation; follow security and quality practices.

Requirements:
- Proven experience building backend applications with modern languages and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of APIs, relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL), and distributed systems concepts.
- Familiarity with microservices/service-oriented architectures and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Strong software engineering fundamentals: clean code, testing, and maintainability.
- Good communication skills in English; collaborative, proactive, and ownership-driven attitude.
