Responsibilities:
- Own design, implementation, testing and operation of backend services in the Grow & Engage domain.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owner, Tech Lead and Designers to translate user needs into scalable backend systems.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, security and observability of services in production.
- Drive system design, API contracts, database choices (Postgres and other stores) and cloud deployments (AWS preferred).
- Mentor peers, share knowledge in team sessions, and contribute to architectural improvements and GSDD experiments.

Requirements:
- Significant experience building production services with a JVM language (Java/Kotlin) and Spring Boot in large-scale systems.
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture, relational and non-relational databases, and cloud-native practices (AWS preferred).
- Focus on product outcomes: ask why, scope realistically, and deliver customer-facing results with strong ownership.
- Habit of writing well-tested, documented code and maintaining security best practices.
- Comfortable using AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to boost productivity without compromising quality.
